Todd knocked on my bedroom door before pushing it open. I turned my head to the side and slowly opened my eyes. I could see him grinning at me.

“Hangover cure?” He wiggled a glass at me, smiling like a fool.

“Are you just going to sit there and gloat to me? You never get hangovers? Because we can’t all be you, Todd.”

“So grumpy, here, hair of the dog, we have that appointment today to get to.”

“It’s Saturday.” I rolled back over in bed and covered my head with the pillow.
