Fantasy Cruise - Part 5
The ship reached port back in New Orleans right on time, and Faith had her bag in hand as she exited the vessel. She had a little extra pep in her step and a few pulled muscles, but she couldn’t take the smile off of her face. This vacation had been exactly what she needed. While walking to her car, a thought occurred to her. How was she going to face John in the morning?
She felt her face blush with that thought. Maybe the others didn’t know what kind of cruise it had been but she was sure John knew.

“Thought I would come check on you, see if you had a good time.” He kept grinning at her; the smile seemed to get wider and wider as he talked.
“Yea I did, learned a lot about the sea. I believe I owe you lunch.” Faith grabbed her purse and stood up straight, looking him in the eyes and motioning her head towards the door. “Care to join me?”
John took a step forward and quickly said, “Yup, know the perfect spot right around the corner.”
